Fun Preschool Activity: Trip to the Strong National Museum of Play

Last weekend, we took my daughter to the Strong National Museum of Play in Rochester, NY. It was lots of fun! After all, what isn’t there to love about a museum of play? Almost all of their exhibits are interactive. Even if you don’t live near Rochester, NY, many states have museums for kids. They make for a fun family preschool field trip.

Here are some of the things we enjoyed at the Strong National Museum of Play in Rochester, New York.

Visit Elmo’s World and Appear on TV with Elmo!

Shop at the Super Kids Market (Put on by Wegmans Food Markets)

Visit the Field of Play Room

Visit the Berenstain Bears Room

Look at the Rainbow Reef Aquariums

Play at the Make It & Take It Centers

Note: This is just a sample of what was available. We opted to go on Sunday instead of Saturday and their hours were shorter, so we didn’t have as much time as I would have liked. Plus, there is so much to do that it is hard to take pictures of everything! If you would like more information on this particular children’s museum, click here to visit their website.
