Preschool Activity: Planting Seeds

Plating seeds with your child is a fun, yet educational preschool activity that they will likely enjoy. In fact, this activity can also be considered a preschool science project, as you are teaching your child about earth science.

Although you do have a number of different options, the best is to start with an egg carton. You can cut the top off the carton and plant the seeds. After a little bit of time has passed, you can move them into a larger container or take the flowers outside.
