Preschool Activity: Rolling a Ball on the Floor

Although rolling a ball on the floor sounds like an activity that is more suited towards an infant, it is still an activity that is great for toddlers and preschoolers, especially during the wintertime. In addition to simply just rolling a ball around on the floor, there are a number of other steps that you can take to make this preschool activity even more fun and educational.

What you will want to think about doing is counting or saying the alphabet each time the ball is rolled. For example, your child starts out by saying “A,” you say “B,” and so forth.
