If your toddler or preschooler is anything like mine, they may love it when you clean your home. In fact, they may even want to help. My daughter regularly breaks out the duster and goes to town when I started doing some form of cleaning, even just the dishes. If this is the case with your child, you will want to let them help you.
When it comes to playing house and cleaning, it is important to remember to keep it fun. You will not want to turn an otherwise fun activity into a long list of chores for your child, as they are really too young to have too much responsible. What you can do, however, is give your child a duster to use, a small laundry basket to pick up their toys, and so forth.
